Intelligent Routing Software (IRS) is an exclusive routing protocol and algorithms, based on research that was originally conducted for battlefield communications. Antenna Products' IRS is designed to function as an internal driver to the "True-Mesh" wireless product series, utilizing existing networking interfaces in the field. It implements a virtual network adapter so that to the rest of the system appears as a virtual network link.
IRS is an easy to use, working mesh solution. It provides features such as automatic network set up and recovery, mesh node authentication and FIPS 140-2 traffic encryption. The "Fast-Access" administrator GUI set-up, allows Network Administrators the ability to pre-configure network node restrictions, pre-establish IP and DHCP pool schemes, and limit mesh nodes and COTS devices per network. This pre-configuration option allows instant access to peer nodes without administrative intervention. Communication is only allowed between "True-Mesh" nodes which ensure instant plug and play functionality while maintaining military-grade security.
