Custom CMR
Antenna Products was approached by a large commercial customer mainly focused in heavy and agricultural equipment manufacturing to develop a multi-frequency wireless mesh radio based on our COTS CMR design. This customer wanted to integrate its mobile equipment with the Antenna Products CMRs to enable mobile equipment to share and compare data with each other and to transfer this data to a central collection site.
During several test trials established by the customer the Custom CMR was able to perform in a highly mobile environment at variable speeds with stringent data levels and low latency requirements.
The customer reported:
“Test criteria was successfully met and in most cases exceeding the minimum requirements in spite of degrading variables such as heavy foliage, through traffic of large vehicles, and metal buildings all blocking to some degree the direct LOS to the base.”
